Networking On the Hunt

Don’t think that networking on LinkedIn pays off? A month and a half ago, I had an acquaintance of a member in my LinkedIn network reach out to me about a possible position at his company. While the prospect was a bust, their talent acquisition specialist referred me to a former coworker of hers, who I just concluded a 30-minute phone screen with.

Will it pay off? I don’t know, but it provided me one more possible opportunity that wasn’t available before.

Networking is half the battle to finding success and a new job.
