Site Updates and Other Things

I was recently RIF’d at my previous place of employment through no fault of my own. Now that I have some spare time, I will overhaul my website a bit by optimizing and updating images and changing the layout a bit.

My site is still in a state of flux as I get the domain transferred away from Squarespace. I’ve manually put in my DNS settings at my CDN provider as a passthrough until the domain is officially transferred and I can make final edits to the DNS records. So, we’re not 100% out of the woods yet.

With that, I’m also with a new host. I previously worked for a web hosting company. As such, I hosted my site with them on my employee account. This necessitated a swift move of my content.

I’m also on Bluesky now. I am still on Mastodon, but recent interactions there have left a bad taste in my mouth, so I’m taking a break for a bit until I re-engage. You can follow me on Bluesky in the meantime.
